Wie seid ihr in diese "Szene" gestolpert?

Oh, it's absolutely differently with me.
 I was grown up in refined world of ballet and classical music. Gradually the delicate atmosphere of barocco and romantic music was changed on the music of Wagner, Schostakowich,  Krzysztof Penderecki   and  Alfred Schnittke.
Parallel to my world there were several of musical streams, where I sometimes dived: jazz, celtic music, chanson, ethno, neofolk, russian sense rock (I afraid that names tell nothing for you  :-[) - Nautilus Pompilius, Alisa, Kino, Liapis Trubeckoj, or rock bands as The Rolling Stones, Scorpions, Deep Purple,...  but  such rock bands was never mine music -  rhythms (some of they used the rhythm of country music) or high men's voices of singers - nothing was coincided with my nature at 100% or even 50%. Rammstein was the first band, which captured me, the next - E Nomine   and Depeche mode.  Oh so, every time I've getting back to baroque and classic music.
In generally, I was never interested in pop music before.
The main period for me was last year, when I was participated in long the "Symphonica" tour with George Michael. During the tour I understood, I live in nice but the closed world, that alongside classical music there are other great musical genres which millions of people are interested in! It need just open ears, throw own haughtiness down and look around!
And the second main event for me was meeting with one person, who showed me "dark" wave in music and interesting style of life.
So, I can tell I went searching for special music which can speak to my soul. Of course, I hear just selective bands (as every of us) and it depend on a mood every time .
For my surprising I found a lot of interesting singers and bands!-
ROME , Archive , Anathema , Dimmu Borgir, Sopor Aeternus, Fliehende Stürme...    ...So, there are a lot of them...

In generally I'm a child on black stage and really glad when I open for myself new music and new groups.  :)

I like it, when people have a wide range of musical interests. That makes a DJs work a little easier. Unfortunately there are only a few.

Oh, dann gehöre ich da auch zu. :)
Wenn ich Musik mittelmäßig finde, lass ich die eben so an mir vorbeiplätschern, aber in der Regel bin ich durch einen seeehr breit gefächerten Musikgeschmack sehr einfach zufriedenzustellen. Zumindest, was Musik angeht. ;)

ich war mit 11-12 in einem forum unterwegs. da ich damals noch nicht sehr viel musik hörte (fing so gerade an) schrieb ich dort mit einem (Mittlerweile nicht mehr bekannten) über musik. er empfahl mir L'âme Immortelle, und ich ging dann bei gelegenheit mit meinen eltern bei Media Markt mir das mal anhören! es gefiehl mir sooo gut! das ist nun schon knappe 10 jahre her :)
