Mal was anders... OPER :)

<< < (8/8)

EL:
In my opinion conventionalities must be respected emphasizing the importance and originality of the event. Even if you go to the opera regularly, you will not come there in slippers. Traditionally, the opera was an elitist art, fine, that is now available to everyone, although were expensive and cheap places earlier too - at the Vienna Opera for example in the gallery there are a special standing places, where the poor residents of the city could join for art. That still remains - the price of a tickets - from 5 to 250 euros. But no one does not occur to wear a tracksuit to the opera, even new Russian with their cult "sportswear + diamonds" are wearing evening dresses to the opera!  :D
Is it necessary to break tradition? In my opinion good tradition should not be break down. The artists also are dressed to the best garbs for us!  :)

Even if the opera is no longer a major event-cultural phenomenon, it still preserves the traditions and the dress code is appropriate here.
We keep the dress code when we go to a night club, disco, swimming pool, gym. This is also a conventionalities, but they are reasonable and rational.
