New Cinema Strange stuff soon to be released:
"After years of study, the musical storytelling quartet Cinema Strange, those mischievous mavericks who brought the world a new brand of fantastically fractured fairy tales and operatic adages, batcave anecdotes and cellar verses, those impish impresarios who tickled and delighted the alternative music universe with their cow impressions, their unique use of antique Russian prelude-styled synthetic aural phenomena, and their architectural prowess, has decided that a ten-year retrospective is called for!
That's right, Cinema Strange has recorded new versions of the five songs from their original EP released in 1994 and will release them back to back with the originals. This is A Cinema Strange Ten-Year Anniversary Novelty Product, and it includes a bonus commentary track on the making of the foundation of the making of a legend, and the making of the foundation of a re-making of the legend, not to mention nearly award-winning essays and delightful paper hat designs to ensure many months of non-stop enthrallment. Cinema Strange could very well be Latin for 'theatrical post-punk entertainment', but at least it's probably ancient Etruscan for 'one-of-a-kind'".
