HYBRID CHILDREN: NEW ALBUM and VIDEO OUT NOW!
The ragged kings of melodic street punk return to fray with their sixth
longplay on October 6th, released on Bad Habits Records and distributed
through Playground music.
GHOST TOWN CARNIVAL is a haunting array of sordid stories from the shadows of seedy sidestreets, where saturnine blues is cured with whatever it may take - oh yeah, the glory days decline, but we'll wear a grin to the grave. Naturally, the album is all class from the word go: 42 minutes of overdriven yet elegant true stories, complete with bombastic production by Janne Vuori (HIM sound engineer) and TT Oksala (69 Eyes).
Recent Hybrid Children adventures include an icehall show with Velvet Revolver (at the invitation of Slash) and a sold-out boat-cruise gig in Venice, Italy with Private Line (FIN). Of former glories, at least the sold out gigs in Tokyo, Japan with the Wildhearts a couple of years ago and a tour in Germany supporting local punk giants Die Toten Hosen, should be mentioned.
In Scandinavia the album is distributed through Playground music. Continental release around the globe is being negotiated.
Also, video from the song called Barricade Boy is finished now and will be
broadcasted around europe at least and on band`s website.
